Background
I am a technical lead with a graphic design background. As much as I have always enjoyed creative collaboration, it's the feeling of truly building something from scratch that gives me the greatest satisfaction. That is what drew me to the technical side of digital product creation.
I thrive in a competitive and collaborative environment with like-minded individuals, and am passionate about diving head first into learning new technologies. As an example, this site was built taking my first stab at GatsbyJS with Contentful's API integration.

Enterprise Website Integration
Client: Standard Insurance
My role: Technical Lead / Developer Lead / Consultant
Objective: The Standard needed a website that allowed for flexible content administration across various page layouts. Content needed the flexibility to meet complex business logic and strict legal requirements. The website also needed to meet WCAG 2.1 level compliance.
Technology stack: Drupal 7 implementation with a Bootstrap front end. ReactJS for various assessment tools and calculators loading headless content.
Annual Event Planner
Client: Capital Group
My role: Product Owner / Front-end Support
Objective: The client was having a difficult time managing their annual event budgets and event team resource capacity across multiple client groups. Managers had little insight into firm-wide resource and budget constraints, pushing event teams beyond their capacity. They needed a tool that allowed them to quickly visualize and identify constraints to address them earlier.
Technology stack: ReactJS frontend with a decoupled Laravel Jetsream backend. The Laravel API feeds into Airtable as a single source of data for a Power BI dashboard.

In my spare time, you will find me doing just about anything outdoors with the family. From the more strenuous activities like backpacking, snowboarding, or mountain biking, to more leisure activities such as day hiking, fly fishing, and honing my skills in the kitchen.
